Community & Family Groups A Place of Hope communities-The word “Community” is a better description of what we are trying to achieve, a group of people from all walks of life that come together with one common goal, to deepen their relationship with God. Community is how a large church stays connected.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A COMMUNITY?
You are experiencing Church community if you are connected to people that: know your name, pray for you regularly, and care enough to call you if they don’t see you every week.
A Place of Hope Communities can meet anywhere (in homes, on the church campus, or after a mid-week service). They meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Communities are lead by a host that works to provide a safe family atmosphere where people can meet the individual needs of others in their community. Every community has a different personality and is made up by the people who participate. There is a community to fit “Who you are.”
Get involved in a Community! It is certain to transform the lives of individual participants and the life of the church as a whole. Community opportunities are currently forming and we are actively seeking hosts. If you want to host a community in your home please contact Isaías Cordero and he will help you get started.
