Army of Hope

The vision I have for the youth is to win all the youth in West Palm Beach for Jesus, build them as Jesus did His disciples, and send them out to continue proclaiming the word of God. Our goal is not only to develop a ministry for the youth but also to develop youth in ministry. Since I’ve always wanted to work with youth, I someday would like to direct an internship program that is designed to empower youth through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to introduce young people everywhere to the truth of Jesus Christ, which is found in the Bible. God will reveal his plan for their lives through his word. In Him they will find everything they will ever need.

The purpose of this ministry is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to this generation. We are committed to letting young men and women know that God created them with a unique purpose in mind. To let them know that even when the circumstances that surround many of them do not change, God’s desire is to change them, from the inside out.

Young people who are not ashamed to make a stand for Christ, no matter where it may be. They know and understand that life is a gift from God and it’s not about what they can get.

It’s all about being an example of God’s love and allowing him to equip them with what they need to live a life that honors Him.

“Don’t let anyone think little of you because you are young. Be their ideal; let them follow the way you teach and live; be a pattern for them in your love, your faith and your clean thoughts”. 1 Timothy 4:12

SPEED THE LIGHT

is a program where the teens of Place Called hope AG can be involved in missions. The money given by the young people provides transportation and communication equipment for missionaries around the world. The single driving purpose behind Speed-The- Light is that the equipment be used for evangelism.

Spiritual Warriors Anointed To Serve

We are very excited to launch this new ministry! We know that as young adults, there are so many things we face on a daily basis that, if we didn’t give it up to God, it would consume us; from temptations to job troubles to family issues, there are so many things we go through. We definitely need a special kind of ministry! That is what we are here for.

We want you to feel welcome in the Church Family, and our goal is to have something that is totally dedicated and relatable to YOU! We no longer want you to think you are going through anything alone, because at one point, I’m sure one of us in this room has faced the same challenge (or is going through it right along with you!). Our primary focus is to not only tell you about God’s love, but to show you.

Our Vision for this ministry

• That you may have God first in your life, so that through Him, you will discover the opportunities and the life He has for you. We want you to find God’s true calling for your life and become an active participant in His Kingdom. We want you to find the place where you feel most comfortable serving in the body of Christ.
• That you realize that you are at an age of transition where many choices that will determine the path of your life must be made (careers, spouses, college choice, moving out of the area, etc). We will emphasize the importance of asking God to guide you in all these decisions.
• That as Young Adults you may be able to leave the baggage of childhood to embrace the clean slate that is before you in adulthood. This can only be done through forgiveness, and God’s divine healing and renewing of our hearts.
• We hope that in this group we can become a family that is continually growing, and know the needs of each other and keep them in prayer. We want to form deep rooted relationships with each other so that we may have a spiritual partner to turn to in times of need.
• We want to express the meaning of true servant hood. It is not letting others take advantage of you, it is allowing God to place a desire in your heart to serve Him through serving others. Jesus himself washed his disciples’ feet, giving us the best example of humbling yourself to fulfill the needs of others. We are Spiritual Warriors Anointed To Serve, and we want to unite a generation that will experience the blessing of serving others.
• As leaders, we want to bring out your biggest hopes and dreams and encourage you to strive for God’s will in your life. Our desire is that in speaking God’s word to you, you may understand that nothing is impossible for Him, and you don’t have to settle for what others may have told you (negatively). In seeking him with all your heart, his plans for you will go beyond your expectations. (see Ephesians 3:20).
